What the MRPack Reader and Inspector checks
An MRPack is a ZIP-based Modrinth archive. Its modrinth.index.json manifest
identifies the pack, required Minecraft and loader versions, download paths, hashes, and
whether each referenced file is intended for the client, server, or both. The archive is
read locally, so you can inspect it without uploading it or installing a launcher.
Read required versions
See the Minecraft and loader versions declared by the pack.
Read the file list
Review referenced paths, SHA-1 hashes, and client or server environment flags.
Inspect before converting
Review the metadata first, then use the converter when you need a standard ZIP layout.
The Inspector reads the versions declared by your pack. To query published Modrinth releases for a different target, use the MRPack compatibility checker.
