How to use an MRPack ZIP in Prism Launcher
Prism Launcher can usually handle Modrinth packs directly, but a ZIP version is useful when you need to inspect files, move overrides, or prepare a pack for another launcher.
Best path: inspect the MRPack first, convert it, then review the failed
downloads report before importing or copying files.
Steps
- Open the converter and upload your
.mrpackfile. - Click Inspect only to confirm the Minecraft version and mod loader.
- Click Convert to ZIP and download the output file.
- If a failed downloads report appears, download it and add those mods manually.
- Create or open the matching Prism Launcher instance, then copy the ZIP contents into the instance folder if needed.
What to check
- The Minecraft version matches the instance.
- The loader is installed, such as Fabric, Quilt, Forge, or NeoForge.
- Override files are copied into the right folders.
- Missing mods from the report are added before launching.
